Re: Hamm 2018 Rally

Sorry to hear of your troubles Dave. I’m on the Newhaven ferry as I type (Wednesday morning) and will be looking to make Perrone as a first stop tonight. With roadworks still on the main Autobahn (route 1 above Köln I will be heading for Venlo Thursday before circling over to Hamm on the 58 A Road. ...

Yes, dates confirmed as being the weekend 7th to 9th Sept - and it’s fast approaching! I’ve yet to buy a ferry ticket so need to sort that & get a few things worked out before the off.
Hopefully, will see you all there!

Re: Sommer DieselBike Rally

We’re doing the Newhaven to Dieppe ferry at 11pm Tuesday for £42 & will push on hard for Gaschney event before doing Jochen’s bash.
I’ve been working on the Ruggerfield’s rear wheel just now in preparation. New bearings & shimming plus a new sprocket on order.
See you out there :D

Re: Sommer DieselBike Rally

Just a chance that I maybe up for doing both these events. If so then maybe I could tie up with Ian for the crossing to Dieppe & meet up with the others over there? Not sure I’d have the time for a slow ride back though as I need a few weeks for Hamm. http://www.motorradmanufaktur.de/index.php?main=...

98220E9D-291E-4B97-B9EB-EA4C6A908168.jpeg I checked into the Bat & Ball last week & everything is on track for the Rally. We have been promised a new access road through our field looping to the rear field as there are currently some ruts full of water. The area where the bonfire is held will also ...

Cheers John & Sam. I need to find out more about where and how the things are installed and used. Are they suitable for heating a small workshop? I shall ask more questions up the pub :D

Yeah, it's no longer an option I'm afraid. And they want too much personal info these days so its been discontinued.

Webasto Diesel Heaters

Had a pretty cold winter here in the U.K. and the subject of Webasto diesel heaters came up down the pub. I know absolutely nothing about these things except what was noted down below so if you know anything then feel free to add it here! I was advised that the desired items were as follows: Citroen...

Re: Big Knock 2018

Yes, 1st of June weekend is set for the Rally at The Bat & Ball. I’m hoping camping costs will be similar to last year but inflation has been on the march so it could be a little higher?
Everything else is the same at the moment.
Hope to see you all there :-)

Re: Hydrogen bikes

I heard long ago that if you get the frequency of the electric just right then the hydrogen is produced at a far more efficient rate. But that was ages ago and it would be everywhere if there was any merit in it.

Hydrogen bikes

I see this hydrogen bike has been in the news again recently. I guess we should follow these things seeing as it's another alternative method of powering a motorcycle. Do we think it's on the level is the question? http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-3169716/Motorcycle-runs-water-polluted-river-...

Re: Big Knock 2017

We have again negotiated that camping will be £10 a night with Jeff being the man to collect that. I'm told there will be no other campers on site for this weekend, the normal price for them being a lot higher. We are allowed BBQ's this year but not big fires. If everyone could be a bit discrete wit...

It is UK registered & currently SORN. Erik reckons he has the fairing parts.
That's all I know at present.
