Injector knowledge..

After a while, i can imagine that the spring of the injector nozzle is getting a bit lazier, and hence injecting too soon and closing too late.
This will result in knocking & smoking?

Can anyone tell us after how long such an effect can be expected?

Hi,
I found one of my injector springs had broken causing smoking. Fatigue most likely.
